Cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals are provided. Due to limited laboratory resources and funding, orthodontia (braces), crowns, and bridges are not provided. Waiting times for appointments depend on the specialty care needed. We have four fully equipped dental operatories and one pediatric dental hygiene room.

DENTISTS
Responsibilities:
•Review patient health history and note any changes
•Provide dental treatment
•Complete progress notes
•Chart and complete treatment plan if time permits
•Dispense antibiotics and other medications as needed.
•Work with dental assistants and translators in getting paperwork completed
•Order x-rays from dental assistants
•Work with dental assistants and translators in giving home care instructions

Qualifications:
•Have either active or retired dental license and experience in any state
•Take South Carolina law and practical exam (VIM is willing to cover testing expense)
•Be friendly and compassionate
•Spanish is helpful but not necessary
•Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
