Volunteer Position: Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:
•Perform adult prophylaxis, debridement and root planing
•Take and develop x-rays
•Chart existing and needed treatment including perio chart if needed
•Set up and prepare operatories
•Make sure patient histories are complete and note any changes
•Keep hygiene operatory stocked with supplies
•Provide home care instructions and product samples as needed
•Write and sign progress reports

Qualifications:
•Have dental hygienist license and experience
•Be friendly and compassionate
•Detail oriented
•Spanish is helpful but not necessary
